3. APA LITERATURE REVIEW. Students will complete a 5-6 page paper, which will be used to evaluate your mastery of the course objectives. The paper will require you to apply theoretical information and research findings in adolescent psychology. Students can choose their paper topic from a variety of topics that will be covered in the course. The paper should be typed (12-pt. Times New Roman font) and double spaced, with 1” margins, and saved as a Microsoft Word document. The paper should also include a title page and a references page, in addition to the 5-6 full pages of written text formatted according to APA style. The paper should include information from at least five references from peer-reviewed journal articles, and references should be cited using APA format, as well. If you fail to cite the work of another author you will receive a zero on the paper for plagiarism. (See the Academic Integrity statement in this syllabus for a full description of what constitutes plagiarism). You MUST write your paper for this class; any paper that was submitted to another class will not be accepted for this assignment. Your originality score should be around 5% or less to avoid losing points. Papers will be submitted electronically, as a Word document, to Turnitin.com links available through Blackboard.
