Part 1: Reply to Prompt In about 200 words or more, please share the following analysis with your fellow students: Choose one artwork discussed in the Week 2 Module and explain how it fits three characteristics of its period style: Late Medieval or Proto-Renaissance. For example, if you choose to write about Nicola Pisano’s pulpit, your post would explain three period style characteristics of Late Medieval artwork that are seen in the pulpit. Your response must discuss for visual and cultural characteristics: When discussing visual characteristics, be descriptive. Explain how you see the visual characteristics in the artwork. Try to use the visual vocabulary introduced when discussing visual analysis in Module 1. When discussing cultural context, give an explanation for the context. For example, if you say that subject matter of the Madonna Enthroned by Giotto fits the period style characteristics of Proto-Renaissance art, explain why. What is the subject matter?
