I make sure to get in at least 30 minutes of exercise every day, whether going for a run, lifting weights, or playing a sport. Eating a nutritious diet is also essential because it helps me stay healthy and energized. I make sure to eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains and limit my intake of processed foods and sugary drinks. Getting enough sleep is crucial because it helps me feel rested and rejuvenated. I typically get seven to eight hours of sleep per night. Finally, taking time for myself to relax and de-stress is crucial because it helps me to stay calm and focused.
At 75, I envision my physical health to be excellent. I will be physically healthy and still be able to do everything I enjoy, like hiking and gardening. I will be independent and able to care for myself without needing help from others. I will continue to exercise regularly and stay active, which will help me stay healthy and mobile. I may need to take cholesterol or blood pressure medication, but I can manage these conditions without seeing a doctor regularly. For example, I will keep my cholesterol in check by eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly. I can monitor my blood pressure at home using a simple device such as a sphygmomanometer.
