After watching the Creativity Lecture, use SCAMPER with one or more items to come up with unique products. At this point, we don’t care about technological feasibility so flying dachshunds or ice cream that makes you lose weight or any unusual item you can come up with is great. The idea is to be creative. The wilder the better, just make sure you can explain what you used in SCAMPER. (SCAMPER is also covered in one of the creativity handouts.)
Tell us what you came up with and how. (e.g., I used “combine” with swimming pools and ice skates and decided to create a way to instantly freeze the pool so you could ice skate in summer.)
Follow up on ideas others posted – what you like, how you might tweak it a bit more, ways to make it feasible, a way to combine it with other ideas, etc., etc.
This is creativity, so this discussion won’t be as structured as some of the others.
