Background:
Reflect on the ideas from Trevor Noahs Born a Crime. You may also continue to think about the problems with the criminal justice system.
Prompt:
What is a social problem that Noah discusses in Born a Crime, how does it connect to the world, and what is/are possible solution(s) to the issue?
In your essay explore one problem that Noah touches on in his novel. Do outside research to find out more about the issue and a/some possible solutions to the issue. You need to propose solutions that can be applied to institutions (schools, government, NGOs, and organizations), not to just individuals.

This essay requires outside research.  You may use Noah’s book as a source, and you must find at least 3 outside sources; only 1 of these may be a source we have looked at in class. 2 sources must be sources that you find yourself.
