Part 1: (50%) As a part of the final exam, students will select a topic, and or reading(s) discussed throughout our course.
Create a narrated PPT, Ted Talk, Documentary or video clip on topic / readings selected. The goal of this assignment is to highlight the contribution of your selected topic/readings to the development of NYC literacy and culture. Each presentation must be approximately 10 minutes long or 15 slides. Followed by a 2-3-page essay. Please be sure to include the following details in both your essay as well your presentation:

Part 2: (50%) Students will write a 2-page reflection essay regarding their virtual Ground Zero tour. Students will reflect on their thoughts, feelings and emotions during their virtual tour of Ground Zero. Furthermore, students will describe what they observed. Consider if you were the architect who designed the 911 memorial, what would you have done differently or what would you have kept.
