You are to find a case on an organization that has either recently undergone restructuring and/or some element of significant change or is handling itself in a manner that suggest a need for change. For example, there are a number of companies during the pandemic that have undergone significant criticism in the literature relative to many of the topics we have studied.
Based upon your case information, you will identify and assess the culture, diversity, structural, strategic, leadership, power dynamics and motivational issues that have either led to or suggest a need for change. Based upon what you have studied in your textbook and additional research initiatives, you will identify and write about what you believe the change processes within the areas you have analyzed should be, again based upon the concepts you have learned in class.
When researching a case, you can begin looking in business magazines such as Fortune, Business Week, Industry Week, etc. Your textbook is also a good source for identifying an organization You will want to begin your assignment by first, fully describing the company, why it restructured/changed and/or what are the issues that suggest the need for change. This information will constitute your foundation for further analyzing the organizational behavioral issues identified above.
In addition to your initial research via the Internet or business magazines (preferably the online resources), to substantiate your analysis and propositions for change you are to reference at least 10 journal articles. And, within the paper, you should make sure you are properly referencing your research articles and Internet, etc., sites as well as using headings within your paper.
You are to prepare your paper in APA or MLA format. It should be a minimum of 10 pages, double spaced and 12 point font. Your failure to properly cite and reference resources will be considered as plagiarism.
